As developers of customer self-service solutions, Smart Tribune has never shied away from shouting about the benefits of automation & technology in the customer service industry as a driver of customer satisfaction & to reduce costs for businesses. That being said, we’re clear that the customer service agent still has a crucial role to play in tackling complex support requests & those requiring a human touch.

It’s the message we’ll be enforcing later this month as exhibitors at the Call & Contact Centre Expo in London: Use technology & automation to deflect basic, repetitive, tier-1 requests away from your contact centre so your agents can focus on more complex issues where they can add real value. During the 30-minute seminar we’ll consider the demand for increased autonomy amongst online consumers, how customer self-service helps brands reduce contact rates while improving customer satisfaction and look at 2 successful self-service projects across separate industries.
